The investment objective of the Fund is to match the risk and return characteristics of the MSCI World Islamic Index (with net dividends reinvested). The Fund shall only be invested in (a) investments which are held in the Index; (b) investments which publicly been announced by the provider of the Index, are to be added to the Index or that have recently been deleted from the Index; (c) exchange-traded funds which track the Index; (d) spot foreign exchange transactions, with spot decided as T+2 or the settlement cycle of the equity market involved; (e) any rights issue and (f) cash, with a limit of 2% on the account.
