The Fund aims to achieve capital growth over the medium to long term period by investing in an environmental, social and governance (ESG) portfolio of Shariah-compliant securities listed on global exchanges. The Fund will invest between 70% to 99.5% of the Fund’s NAV into Shariah-compliant and ESG-compliant global equities, Shariah-compliant and ESG-compliant equity related securities and the remaining balance in Islamic money market instrument, Islamic deposit placements and/or other Shariah-compliant permitted investment. The Fund also integrates ESG consideration into its investment portfolio.
